There are so many online sources to retrieve information now a days that we have no shortage of daily events in our local area or at the national level. The problem is that not all the sources report the same way or the same information. This can be a good and bad thing.
How do you decide what news is true and which is false? For me personally I don't look at one source. I believe that most news sources are biased in some way or another. When you look at multiple sources, you get different points of view and we can piece information together that may have been missed by others. It's safe to say that a known satirical website, although humorous, will not have any useful information. When you compare multiple sources, you weed out those annoying fake articles.
